Amid celebrations on the second evening of our Baptist National Hui 2023, we presented awards never seen in our history of hui: The Listeners’ Choice Awards.

The Baptist NZ podcast network currently has ten podcast shows and 104 podcast episodes capturing a diverse range of conversations with NZ Baptists on passions, stories, learnings and topics that can enrich how our faith communities seek gospel renewal for people and places.

Following are the winners for the two categories, as voted by listeners during the month of October:

Top podcast show

The Changes Ahead Podcast

Hosted by Cathy Marston and Steven Goulstone

It is no secret that the church in the West is in decline, and there seems to have been unending talk about the church needing to change. Despite this, the number of sustainable alternatives or even small changes to what many churches are familiar with is tragically low.

This podcast captures the thoughts of people who can see ‘the Changes Ahead’ of us. Together, we’ll be challenged, provoked even, by the views of people thinking about how the church might thrive going forward. So, we invite you to join co-hosts Cathy Marston and Steven Goulstone as we imagine the Changes Ahead.
